Who we are and what we do |

Client Services Programs… continued Services are provided by our community partners and GAHP staff, mentors and volunteers as well as other service partners throughout the region. It is through these programs along with the subsidized housing component of the program that our community provides a ‘hand up, not a hand out’ to reduce and prevent homelessness in our community. |
GAHP Outreach Services Programs Participation in our programs and services is open to community members who are at risk of homelessness or of low to moderate income, as well as to our residential clients. As a housing resource centre we can refer and access information for other local, federal, provincial and regional programs and initiatives through the Outreach services. Please contact our office for more information on our programs and services. |
Who uses our services? We currently house 18 individuals in 6 residences. More than half of those are children and youth under the age of 18 years. The majority of our client households are headed by single parent females. Residential clients are limited to those currently living in Grimsby or those with a ‘significant attachment’ to the community. |
