Partnerships are the key to success in our community. GAHP is founded on a partnership model. Together, we can provide the level of service needed to address the increasing incidence of low income and homelessness in our community. The Community Advisory Panel is comprised of service partners, organizations and individuals who collectively make recommendations to GAHP. Other community partners may provide direct or indirect client service. |
Community organizations and concerned individuals came together throughout 2007 to review the obstacles facing persons of low income in Grimsby. The most pressing issue was the lack of affordable housing.
Today, those organizations along with faith groups, service providers and individuals form the Community Advisory Panel (CAP) to GAHP. Together we work as advocacy partners in accessing and developing resources for those at risk in our community. Members of CAP advise and make recommendations to GAHP for a seamless service delivery model to enhance response to clients and reduce duplication of services in our community. . |

For more information on becoming a CAP member please contact us. |
Working together, we can successfully ensure a vibrant community with greater equality and opportunity for those who most need it. |
Organizations We Work With In addition to our CAP members GAHP works with many other organizations in the community and across the Region to access and develop services for clients in Grimsby. GAHP represents Grimsby on the Niagara Regional Homelessness Advisory Committee coordinated by the Region of Niagara.
